Et voilà, la grande étape est franchie: j'ai fait hier le déménagement des meubles accumulés dans la chambre d'amis vers la maison de campagne ! Avec un arrêt chez Ikea (pour acheter un beau lit king pour notre chambre) et chez un particulier pour lui acheter son canapé. On va pouvoir enfin profiter de la maison, relaxer, regarder un film...quel bonheur !

It's done, I moved our furniture yesterday from the overloaded guest room to the cottage house ! With a stop at Ikea (to get a nice king size bed) and to a person who sold us her sofa.

Voici quelques photos, beaucoup de travail encore pour finir de monter les meubles, mais ca fait déja toute une différence ! J'ai passé une couche d'apprêt directement sur le plancher de bois franc de la chambre des maitres avant de le peindre, ca éclaircit la pièce ! Du coup le lit king est encore dans ses cartons, ce sera pour le week-end prochain !

Here are a few pictures, there is still a lot of work left to assemble the furniture and arrange everything, but what a difference! I've primed the hard wood floor I will next paint in our master bedroom, it makes it so much brighter ! The king bed could then not be assembled....next week-end !

Le solarium maintenant pourvu d'un canapé, l'endroit idéal pour flâner le dimanche matin, un café à la main...The solarium with a sofa now, the perfect place to rest on Sunday morning with a coffee..

Le salon, il reste à remonter la structure interne du lit. La table basse achetée d'occasion couleur bouleau sera repeinte en blanc. The living-room, the structure of the bed must be re-assembled, and the birch coffee table will be painted white.

La bow window, avec le coffre en attendant que la banquette soit construite. The bow window with a nice old wood chest, until we build the bench planned for here. La salle à manger. Cette table aussi sera bientôt repeinte en blanc. The dining room table will also be repainted white. Dans la niche du salon, du bois flotté ramassé au bord du Lac Champlain dimanche dernier. In the living room wall niche, some drifted wood I picked up on the Champlain Lake shore last Sunday.
